I'm starting to get bored. It has business politics, kidnappings, fight scenes, and a snowball fight! Oct 19, Kassilem rated it it was ok. The series is going downhill for me. The romance that gave the appeal is lacking in this volume. And I was only ever really interested in Teru and Daisy, no one else. But this volume is packed with everything else but those two things.
It was interesting enough but mostly I found myself reading the monthly chapters dimply by route. The artwork is also only half appealing to me.
When Motomi takes the time the drawings can be very well down but half of the volume is quicker work. Not necessarily b The series is going downhill for me. Not necessarily bad, but not my style either. Overall, my interest is dying down. Mar 14, S. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.

Volume 11 provides us with our first actual glimpse of Morizono. He serves the dual purpose of introducing the threat of a new Jack Frost virus and providing Kiyoshi with a villain that he can rescue Rena from. In this volume, he wields a bamboo sword to thwart bad guys and lends a sympathetic ear to Rena whenever she gets weepy.
Feb 15, Kate rated it really liked it Shelves: 8-dengeki-daisy , manga-total-volumes. Kyousuke Motomi described her chapters in this volume best: "There were a lot of places where it was slow-going with segments that seemed preachy. But lately, I'm so tired of Riko handing out her advice left and right. I wish she'd let Teru find her own way on things.
This volume also feels a bit repetitive. Kidnapping, abusive men who want world domination okay, maybe not tha Kyousuke Motomi described her chapters in this volume best: "There were a lot of places where it was slow-going with segments that seemed preachy.
Kidnapping, abusive men who want world domination okay, maybe not that grand a scale, but they certainly don't lack hubris I'd like to see more variety when it comes to plot, but I don't think I'm going to get that, so I'll have to settle with enjoying the strengths of this story. What never gets old is the relationship between Teru and Kurosaki. It hasn't exactly progressed beyond the first few volumes, and resetting it after Daisy's identity was officially revealed didn't help it move forward much, either.
But, somehow Motomi is able to pull this non-progressing love story off. Teru and Kurosaki can go from goofing off to an unexpected moment of intensity and chemistry with a simple handhold or look. I love romantic tension, so Motomi, keep this up. It's fun. Overall, Dengeki Daisy continues to be a fun read.
It's had some really great moments, and I expect some more great moments to come in future volumes. Just have to wait 'till May for the next installment this last wait was since last July - that was painful.

Other than the fact that I should review them closer to when I finish them, so that I actually have a clear memory of what happened. But now I have the next volume, and I have to review this one first. So, drama is happening. The whole gang is preparing for the upcoming stand-off with their Enemy, waiting for more clues, for the Enemy to do something, getting their own stuff ready.
There are some sweet moments between Teru and Kurosaki. This review is also available on my blog. Jul 03, Lara rated it really liked it Shelves: read-in , manga-manhwa. So, a lot of times it sort of annoys me in manga when the story focuses on someone other than the main characters. But in this case, I actually really liked it.
The main conflict here though there is also a connection to Daisy and the Jack Frost virus involves Teru's friend Rena and her somewhat creepy fiance.
Who is he really? And what exactly is he up to? And how can Teru and friends help Rena through it all? I actually really like the friendships in this series, so while in many other serie So, a lot of times it sort of annoys me in manga when the story focuses on someone other than the main characters. I actually really like the friendships in this series, so while in many other series I would probably find this plot line pretty tedious, I thought it really worked here. Looking forward to Volume Apr 22, Hobbes rated it liked it Shelves: manga-manhwa.
After Akira's physical attack, Teru is determined to learn to defend herself better. It's hilarious Go bald, Kurosaki! Just love this shortie But, of course the fun is short lived. There are still plenty of bad characters hitching plots to obtain the Jack Frost virus.
Sep 24, Kate rated it really liked it. Finally some action is made by now centering around the new character of Rena's scheming fiance, Kazuki Morizono. I see more of Kiyoshi's feelings for Rena rise to the surface. And of of course the main couple develop in their relationship to be more trusting in each other. I can't wait to see if the team can stop the virus and save a friend in the next volume.

The snowball fight in chapter 52 was really cute. I can't wait to see what happens in the next volume! Teru is so freakin' gorgeous at the end of this manga volume!!! Time to save Rena! Kiyoshi tells Andou that his cell phone had disappeared at some point, which solves how Chiharu Mori was able to contact Kurosaki. Andou asks that Kiyoshi leave the difficult things to the adults, who have been using all their connections to find Kurosaki. However, Andou also warns Kiyoshi that they will need to watch over Teru, because the situation will not be the same if Kurosaki returns.
Andou blames himself and the adults for failing to teach Kurosaki that he deserves to be happy and believes Teru is the only person who can do that now. On the school roof, a depressed Teru is still trying to understand Kurosaki's last message to her.
Fearing that Teru is contemplating suicide, Rena tries to comfort her. Kiyoshi elects to use a different technique and punches Teru, bluntly telling her to get a hold of herself and to start taking action instead of waiting to be saved. Kiyoshi's method works and it riles Teru enough to send Kiyoshi flying. Rena is impressed by Kiyoshi's dedication and how effective he was at encouraging Teru.
Energized by Kiyoshi's words, Teru asks Andou to tell her about Kurosaki's past so she will be able to answer Kurosaki honestly when they meet again. Meanwhile, Riko and the Master learn from Takeda that Kurosaki is likely looking for an encryption virus called "Jack Frost. Dengeki Daisy Wiki Explore. Wiki Content.
